okay.

so I am not dead.
and I am very sore..............
I think this is an interesting experience for me.
when I started this job the first time I was in a whole other place in my life
now I am back 14 years later a completely different person than I was (mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally)
it is a bazaar feeling listening to these people talk about issues that I had 14years ago.
most all are single and I am girl number 2. the other one is ruffly about the same age.
she was most happy that there is another woman there.
it is hard work.
and the guy I worked with was a blessing to me. I think I drove him crazy. that's okay he drove me crazy too.
but he is a hard worker and very positive and easy going. so the Lord had picked him obviously .
next week I do not know who I will get as a partner. I am sure it will be some one interesting.
I am trying very hard to keep my positive attitude while there and I am always on guard as far as that is concerned........
I had forgotten how bad people look down on city workers, I got sooooo many dirty looks while driving around in a city truck, I kept asking the guy I worked with how come everybody is so cranky...... he of course just shrugged his shoulders......... I suppose he was used to I guess.

so the first day it rained, so that meant no fields would be playable.....which meant BOARD out of my skull.......except for the three house we spent on a base ball field ........ he edged the running lines, I raked up the sod that was edged ( with a shovel) and then put it in a cart and filled holes in the Field.....mmhmm. do you know how big a baseball field is? darn tooten big!
yah so that night I hurt. Friday came around and well.........not so much hurting but very tired, carpel tunnel likes to attack hands and make them numb at night...... very uncomfortable .

so as a result......... I will be blogging but not as much.
it is going to take some time to get used to this schedule.
don't forget to look though I might suprise you....:)

I've been thinking about you and wondered how your new job was going, thanks for filling me in. It sounds very interesting. How's the rest of your family dealing with the change?

Do people really look down on city workers? I don't think they do here.

oh yah city workers here are not looked upon very well... :(

From now on, whenever I pass those people out working for the town, city, county, state... I will think of you and smile at them.

Thanks for the update, T. I'm glad you survived!! and that you had a positive partner. It's hard to keep a good attitude if your partner doesn't have one themselves.

Oh, Martha give them a cookie! Kinda like giving a cop a donnut :o)

I hope you adjust soon! Change is never easy! It sounds tuff! I think I'd rather clean a house.

I hope things will work out for you with the new job.

Cookies.... hmmm. I'll have to think about that. Maybe someday I'll do just that!

That certainly would be tough to adjust to! I pray that God will tremendously BLESS you as you faithfully serve him in this.

You can do it. Just hope you don't have to work with any jerks. I do and it is a constant battle to control my temper. A very long time ago, I worked on a county road crew and we got the same looks. Just keep doing a good job and try and smile once in a while. Good luck,
Greg
