phylis dillar

so does any one know her?

she is one of my favorite comedians.

believe it or not she is really the first woman stand up comedian who set the stage so to speak for the women to come.

I just really like her humor, she is very wild and yet has a dry sense of humor and a sense of wit.

she turns 80 this month.

I remember her too, but I can't remember what from. It was probably The Gong Show too, since we used to watch that quite a bit.

We watched the Gong Show too much. It was't even worth watching but we watched it anyway. (Anyone recall the Unknown Comic? He always got gonged.)

Yes, I remember him. I also remember an episode where every person sang "Feelings, nothing more than feelings" Do you remember that???!

I did like the gong show, though it was pretty dumb. I must have been just the right age to enjoy it.

I really did enjoy the Gong Show too. The "Feelings" episode does seem vaguely familiar. Do you remember Tiny? She was a heavy set woman who sang one particular song... What was it?... Uhhh... "I searched the world over and thought I found true love, but he met another and (pthttt!) he was gone."
