When I graduated my mom gave me a cup. The cup was not as significant as what it said.
I don't know if she knew how much the cup meant to me. At that time I drank alot of coffee and so the cup was the important thing to me at the time. :)
As the years went on and my life had many ups and downs and twists and turns.
I still have the cup. Amazing! I have lost a lot in my adventures and it surprises me that 1. the cup is intact and two I still have it.
The message on this cup is what I have come to appreciate through the years. And now that I have kids of my own I can truly understand what it really means.
is many things to many people
but if you have the courage
to be true to yourself,
to live up to your potential,
to be fair with others,
and always look for the good
in any situation...
then you will have been the best you can be,
and there's no greater success than that.
I think these words are great. And I really appreciate my mama giving them to me.
