My Papa

see this man ?

this is my papa . he made Christmas so very special.
he is the one who taught me how to snoop under the tree. every season I would go over to his house and he would wait till my grandma was busy and then he would take me and we get down on our knees and look threw all the presents and shake and rattle them.
this was quite a feet for him because his back . but he did it anyway.
He also taught me how to sneak the cookies from my grandma and how to drink coffee the proper way(which really isn't so proper :P)
He taught me how to really enjoy Christmas at his house.
we always used his socks for the stockings and he would always make sure that the "right" cookies were left out.
every Christmas that I spent over there was a treasure. the smells and the joy that was there has never been matched. and I am not sure that it should be. those memories are savored and treasured in my heart forever.
I miss my papa and wish that he could share those times with my kids. but God decided that that was not supposed to be the case. I have to accept that.
they have their own papa now and their own grammy. and I hope they treasure those memories like I do
have a merry Christmas and I pray that you enjoy every one you have.

Yes, that man loved you more than his own breath. He would have moved the mountains and emptyed the seas to make you happy and to see you smile. He was so very special. I miss him too.
